Description
As used, and supplied as standard with the 3ft One Man Crosscut Saw, this auxiliary handle is attached to the blade to assist cutting with the crosscut saws and means the one man saw can be adapted to a 2 man saw if needed.
Made from Ash wood with steel fittings, this handle should fit any One Man saw that has a hole in the blade, so can be used to replace lost handles or revamp old saws. This fitting has been specially produced so that the steel fitting slides on the blade and can be tightened up to the blade. The specially shaped washer has notches in so that the blade lines up correctly. The rivet then slots through the hole in the fitting and holds the handle in place.
